Our policy does not remove, replace, exclude, override or otherwise alter your rights given under Australian Consumer Law and regulations.
If You Change Your Mind
If you have changed your mind and you are able to provide satisfactory proof of purchase, Just looking Furniture may offer you an exchange or refund provided that the item/s purchased:
– is in saleable condition and un-damaged;
– is unused with all original, sealed packaging and tags attached;
– the exchange or refund is sought within a 7 days.
If you are unable to provide satisfactory proof of purchase, Just Looking Furniture at its absolute discretion reserves the right not to offer a refund for change of mind. In such cases, Just Looking Furniture may provide you in its absolute discretion, an exchange to the current value of the merchandise.
Please choose carefully when purchasing items as change of mind returns will not be provided on:
– custom made, and altered product;
– items of furniture once they have been delivered.
NB: If a Fabric Protection package has been included in your purchase, the price of this package will not be refundable.
Proof of Purchase
Returns, refunds, exchanges or repair requests must be accompanied by any one of the following proof of purchase documents:
– Original Just Looking Furniture receipt of payment.
If you believe an item is faulty, you may have rights to a remedy under the Australian Consumer Law. These rights are not impacted by the change of mind policy or limited by a defined timeframe.
However the Australian Consumer Law does recognise that the relevant time period may vary by product (or service) depending on the nature of the goods (or service), the price paid and any representations made about the goods (or service).
Where you believe an item is faulty, it may be necessary for us to send your goods to the manufacturer or their service agent for it to be assessed within a reasonable period of time. If there is a major failure with the item, you may choose a refund, exchange or repair. If the failure is minor, we will repair the item (or, at our discretion, we may replace the item or refund you) within a reasonable time.
Where an item is faulty and it is determined that it must be returned to the Manufacturer, Just Looking Furniture may elect to share the return freight costs in equal thirds (1/3) with the Customer, the Manufacturer and Just Looking Furniture in order to reduce these costs for all parties. Just Looking Furniture will provide an estimate of these costs in advance to the Customer.
Where an item is damaged through misuse or abnormal use, Just Looking Furniture will not provide a refund, exchange or repair.
Just Looking Furniture will require satisfactory proof of purchase before providing a remedy under the Australian Consumer Law.
Refunds for all purchases from Just Looking Furniture will be given using your original payment method, except in the following circumstances:
– Where a credit or debit card was used to make the purchase, the cardholder and the same card must also be present;
– If the purchase was made by Gift Voucher, a Just Looking Furniture Gift Voucher will be issued for the original purchase amount.
